Wedding Beauty Treatments
Every little girl dreams of having a fairytale wedding and looking the glowing, absolutely radiant bride on her special day. Women always say that it’s wonderful to be marrying someone who loves them just the way they are; but on the day the knot is tied, nothing less than perfection is expected. Now there are wedding planners to help ensure the event goes smoothly, caterers to serve great food and family to take care of the guests. That just leaves the bride’s looks.
Unless there’s money to burn on the various beauty treatments, discipline and a little help from friends can go a long way to helping every woman have her gorgeous face and great form. Let’s face it, not all of us have been blessed with movie star good looks. The transformation begins on the day she says yes to getting married.
Since the pictures are meant to be for posterity, most ladies would like to have clear skin for their pictures. Acne is an absolute eyesore! Some facial problems are caused by bad habits such as constantly touching the face, lack of cleansing and insufficient sleep. It will help to keep those hands away and learn to use facial products properly. If the budget can fit it in, see a dermatologist. Make sure to tell them when the wedding is so that they know how much time they’ve got to help you get set.
On the day itself, let a professional do your make-up. Take the time to shop around and find someone who you’re comfortable with and whose style you like. They may cost you more than if you did it yourself, but they will make your face picture perfect.

6-Month Wedding Beauty Countdown
You want to be a beautiful, radiant bride, and (like all other aspects of your wedding), a little planning and preparation can go a long way in helping you look your best on the big day. Here are some tips to help you get started…
Six months before. If you plan to grow out your hair or try a different color, experiment now. It will give you time to reverse the “damage” just in case you end up hating it. You can also test the look on the web. This is also a good time to begin a serious skin care regimen. Start cleansing, eat right, manage stress. And sign up for an exercise program! You may want to lose pounds to fit in your new dress, and the last way you want to do that is a crash diet. Starving yourself will lead to dull skin!
Two months before. Start meeting up with makeup artists for trial runs. If you’re planning to do your own makeup, go to makeup counters to get a makeover and buy the products you need and practice your look. Begin moisturizing for silky smooth elbows, hands and knees. And if you want a bright smile, cut down on coffee and tea and start using a whitening toothpaste.
One month before. Test any at-home masks or facials; you don’t want to risk an allergic reaction or break out too close to your wedding day! Have your eyebrows professionally shaped, and take your veil to any hair salons to try out ‘dos’ for the big day.
Two weeks before. Get your final hair cut or trim, and have your color retouched. Do a big full hair trial before your last dress fitting. It’s your last chance to perfect your look!
One week before. Have your eyebrows retouched. Get a massage, a final facial, and a bikini wax. Go to the spa for a full body scrub, and have your nails done.
